Our Story

When Dorsha Cavalier was born in Central-Western USA,
her father was a respectable figure in the business community.
When the recession of 1973 caused markets to fall worldwide,
her family was not spared and Dorsha was forced into poverty
at the tender age of 10.


           Dorsha convinced a kindly baker to take her in as
his shop assistant. Being an inquisitive child, she would try
her hand at baking cookies, muffins, bread and treats when
she finished all her chores at the end of each day. Her willing tasters
were the stray dogs and puppies that lingered around when the aroma from the oven spewed into the streets. She attuned the recipes to accommodate the nutrition and diet of her now friendly pooches and puppies.

          Her nutritious and delicious cookies & bakes had such a huge following that the kindly baker decided to help Dorsha open her own US Doggie Bakery to cater to her canine customers.

          Till today the US Doggie Bakery chain continues to uphold and maintain this healthy tradition of using “human quality” ingredients for the nutrition and well being of your family dogs and pets.
